Carrot consumption may lower breast cancer risk

Chinese researchers meta-analyzed data from 10 previous studies and found an association between carrot consumption and risk of breast cancer.

They found women who had the highest intake of carrot were 23% less likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer.

The study was reported in 2018 in the journal Medicine.

Carrot juice has been used by many cancer patients to treat a variety of cancer.  Carrot juice is a major dietary component in Gerson therapy which has been known as an anticancer diet.
