pH and oxygen

Wednesday 04/21/2021 (jkzx.com) — We human beings need thank our creator for his creation that allows us to use a maximal concentration of oxygen which is needed for a maximal physiological activity. Why can we say our serum concentration of oxygen is at the maximal level?

It is a fact that the normal pH of our human blood is between 7.35 and 7.45. We say normal because most people’s blood pHs fall into this range. Some people suffer some health conditions and their blood pH can lower or higher than this range. So you can say that this normal pH is also the optimal pH from the health viewpoint. So based on our observations, we can say pH 7.4 is good.

Then did we ever ponder why our Creator creates us with our blood pH falling between 7.35 and 7.45? Why this pH is important for us? We now know that this pH is important because it helps maintain a maximum level of oxygen in our blood. Oxygen is important for the production of energy. When your blood oxygen level is low, you do not feel so energetic. When a patient whose blood oxygen is lower, he may need to inhale oxygen enriched air. But how much oxygen can be dissolved in water depends on the water pH. So an optimal pH is important for us and it is 7.4.

That the highest level of oxygen is achieved when pH is 7.4. was found in a study of lake water by Kua Ngilbus at University of California in Berkeley and colleagues. Dissolved oxygen is needed for our normal physiology. When we have a maximum of oxygen, we can have a maximum energy if we need it. When your oxygen level is low, you are in trouble. For instance, when you run fast, you consume oxygen quickly and locally you create oxygen shortage which leads to a different type of glucose metabolism and generate lactic acid. With lots of lactic acid accumulated, you feel tired. So when you run fast or do heavy work, you feel tired easily,

By the way, if your blood pH is too high (>7.8) or too low (6.5), your health is in trouble. Medications, medical conditions (like caner) and inadequate diet among other things can have an impact on your blood pH. If you feel tired often and do not have any apparent signs of disease, there is a chance, big or small, that you have a cancer and it is likely that you have a low pH in your urine and saliva. pH and Cancer

Dr. Lu’s note: Now that we know that pH is essential for our normal life. Cancer is not part of a normal life. So you can imagine that the pH in the cancer mass may not be normal. In fact, cancer uses an alternative pathway to metabolize glucose and generate energy (ATP) and produce a waste material – a type of organic acid called lactic acid. Production of this acid cancer cells carry out by burning a lot of glucose in a primitive metabolism called fermentation is why cancer patients feel tired (fatigue without known reason is a symptom of cancer).

The cancer cells use a lot of glucose and produce a lot of lactic acid. How oxygen therapy works?

High levels of oxygen are toxic to cancer cells which is doubtless. But simply inhaling a lot of oxygen does not necessarily mean you can get oxygen to the cancer cells. Cancer patients need to test the pH of their blood. If the blood pH is too low, optimal oxygen level in the blood could not be established. if your body fluids including blood have a low pH, no sufficient oxygen could get to cancer cells and kill them. In the blood, oxygen is transported through hemoglobin which cannot carry much oxygen when the serum pH is too low. So cancer patients need to check serum pH and correct it. Cancer patients are likely to have low serum pH because cancer cells produce a large amount of lactic acid. Lactic acid can be counted as a defensive weapon for cancer cells to survive. They know oxygen is dangerous to them, so they produce lactic acid to dysfunction hemoglobin.

So think about it and figure out how to stop the production of lactic acid is the key step to stop cancer.
