You should not use cell phone in cars or elevators

Radiation emitted from wireless devices such as cell phones has been known to potentially cause various cancers such as brain cancer, thyroid cancer and breast cancer.  This means that it is important to use the wireless gadgets properly to avoid any excessive exposure to the harmful radiation.

It is known that when you use cell phones in enclosed space such as elevators and cars, you are exposed to much high doses of radiation because the electronic devices use high amounts of radiation and all radiation is almost 100% absorbed by your body instead of the environment.  It is just that you do not know how much damage the radiation can cause to your body.

A study conducted by Indian scientists and released in 2015 found that in some cases, the specific absorption rates (SAR values) when cell phone/Bluetooth was used in cars were 514 times higher than the biological limit of 1 mW/Kg.

A.K.Dhami at Lovely Professional University in India measured the radiation in cards when a cell phone and Bluetooth device were used and found the radiation intensity increased by 393%, compared to no phone/Bluetooth in cars.

The study suggests that people using cell phones in cars can be exposed far more radiation than the safe dose.  Because of this exposure, those who use cell phones or navigation devices in cars such as taxi drivers are at high risk of cancer. (Dr. Lu)
