The Oldest person  Lessie Brown in the U.S. died on Tuesday at the age of 114 years.  Her longevity may have something to do with her diet – she ate sweet potatoes every day! She is also a faithful person and she is grateful that God let her have lived such a long life.

Details can be read here.

Sweet potatoes is one of the best foods you can eat on the planet. It is full of all sorts of nutrients.  One good nutrient in large quantity is carotenoids.  Studies have found that high intake of carotenoids is associated with lowest risk of death from breast cancer.   This does not mean that eating sweet potatoes can extend survival of breast cancer patients.  But it is a good food for healthy people at least.
