Saturday May 21, 2021 (jkzx.com) — A new study published in the journal Nutrients in January, 2020 suggests that eating carrot regularly can significantly reduce the risk of colorectal cancer .

Previous lab work has proved that carrot juice is an effective anticancer agent that can effectively kill many types of cultured cancer cells.

The anticancer activity of carrots has been attributed to two major antifungal polyacetylenic oxylipins falcarinol and falcarindiol, even though many other nutrients can also be beneficial such as beta- carotene.

The antineoplastic, antiproliferative and antiinflammatory activity of falcarinol and falcarindiol found carrots have also been confirmed in lab animals like rats.

The current study found that eating carrots can help prevent colorectal cancer.

Ulrik Deding and colleagues from University of Southern Denmark conducted the current study which involved 57,053 individuals who were followed for up to 18 years to survey their intake of carrots and then linked the carrot consumption to the risk of colorectal cancer.

The researchers found those who ate 2 to 4 carrots per week for more than 18 years were 17% less likely to be diagnosed with colorectal cancer, compared to those who did not eat carrots.

Those who ate less than 2 to 4 carrots per week did not enjoy the same benefit as those who ate 2 to 4 carrots per week.

(It seems that there is a 7% reduction in risk of colorectal cancer in those eating less than 2 to 4 carrots a week, which was not statistically significant.)

This study proved that eating carrots can cut risk of colorectal cancer.

Also undeniable evidence indicates that eating carrots or drinking freshly prepared carrot juice for as short as 42 days can actually help cure many types of cancer including colorectal cancer.

Ann Cameron, a children’s book writer, cured herself of colorectal cancer by simply drinking carrot juice. She wrote a book titled Curing Cancer with Carrots to share with readers her experience fighting her colorectal cancer by simply drinking carrot juice. (she did have cancer surgically removed before drinking carrot juice.)

Chris Wark has a similar story to tell. He was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2003, and had it removed. And then he started drinking carrot juice and other anticancer supplements. Eventually he eradicated his cancer and has been living free of cancer for more than 17 years now. C hris wrote two books to share his story with others. And many find his story informative and useful to cancer patients.

Carrot is one of the best alternative cancer treatment which is cheap, safe and most importantly effective in treating many types of malignancy.
