Gerson therapy vs conventional treatments – impact on 5-year survival for melanoma patients

A report released in 1995 compares the survival rate of patients with melanoma treated with Gerson Therapy with that of patients treated with conventional treatments. The report indicates that Gerson therapy is much more effective than the conventional treatments.

For patients with stage 1 and II melanoma, Gerson Therapy leads to a100% 5 year survival rate, compared to 79% of those treated with conventional treatments.

For patients with stage IIIA melanoma, those treated with Gerson therapy had a 82% chances to survive more than five years, as compared to 39% for those treated by conventional treatments.

For patients with stage IVA melanoma, those treated with Gerson therapy had a 39% chances to survive over five years, compared to only 6% for those treated with conventional therapies.

For patients of other stages of melanoma, results were not reported.

This report suggests that Gerson therapy is more effective at fighting melanoma than conventional treatments, which include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.

Melanoma is the most aggressive form of skin cancer.
